Pros

Great culture Sweet discounts in clothes No micromanaging - very much an "entrepreneurial" spirirt to work on your own Location is really convenient Co-workers are really friendly

Cons

Super high turnover Tremendous dependency on temporary consultants/contractors rather than in-house expertise Laughable base salaries People who have been here more than a few years tend to become lazy and complacent with status quo Small team sizes mean people are being run into the ground with work Employees that quit are rarely replaced, so work is often piled on other people in the team to take on

Pros

Employee discount; on trend styles; quality of most merchandise.

Cons

Unorganized management; employee morale; customers have come to expect all items will be on sale due to J. Crew's constant promotions and sales; decline of fabrics and materials.
