      Pros

      This was a good place to work for a seasonal sales position. All the staff I worked with were very kind and helped me succeed whenever I had questions. The pay was good for a part time position and they were flexible with my schedule.

      Cons

      As a lower level associate you are often asked to work holidays such as the 4th of July. There can be a lot of downtime some days depending on store location.

      Pros

      J.McLaughlin stands behind their motto of Culture of Kindness. Everyone I’ve encountered has been extremely polite, positive and encouraging. It’s rare to find a retailer that truly cares about their customers and employees as much as J.McLaughlin does. The most significant pros as a Store Manager are work/life balance, minimal micromanaging, a positive work environment and the ability to really take care of and accommodate your clients’ needs.
