Pros

It's easier to get on the IB ladder via Glasgow. From there you can move to London with real experience under your belt.

Cons

Some managers are truly awful. If you're on that team it will be a daily struggle. Other teams can be great. It's hard to tell from the interview. The best bet is to ask around before hand if you know anyone who works there already. Otherwise, accept that it's a risk you will take.
