Pros

Nothing good about this job except the location manager

Cons

Literally everything about this job is horrible, pay is bad, corporate keeps kicking you for not being able to meet goals that can never be achieved, always on call, expectation of working 12+ hour days, and no work/life balance whatsoever.

Pros

You learn sales strategies and upselling

Cons

Long hours without any breaks in the holiday season. They promised regular hours but non were available after the X-mas rush. Manager manipulated the sales so she could get the sales that would bring her a commission, and gave employees the "groupon" sessions. Studio was overbook with not enough people to handle the sessions. People are rushed through a 15 minute photo session, then there is a 30 minute sales pitch period. Photo studios are sweltering from the lights. One employee never can back after going to the bathroom. Another almost passed out from the heat of the studio. Company threats customers like cattle, and employees like servants.

Pros

You get to take photos.

Cons

To keep it brief... The pay is NOT enough for the incredibly rude customers, ridiculous time constraints/schedules, no set breaks, etc. The parents that bring in their kids seem to think it's a babysitting service and refuse to control their unruly children. 15 minute sessions is not long enough for a lot of children with special needs/attention issues. The way they make you schedule sessions leaves little to no wiggle room if someone shows up even 5 minutes late, has to use the restroom, or for outfit changes.
