      worse salon ever

      Pros

      Store discounts were cool. The co workers were awesome! Everyone is very friendly!

      Cons

      horrible business horrible hourly pay hours are cut if you are not making service goal stylists were fired for not making service sales goal when there is no business available waste of time manager is scared of confrontation salon traffic is extremely slow jcpenney salon is not beneficial in any way overall very unhappy with jcpenney salon

      Pros

      The store location was recently updated which made it look fresh. The employees were easy going and enjoyed talking to each other to make time pass easier. Most of the managers were also really easy going and friendly. My manager worked with my schedule and would give me appropriate hours.

      Cons

      The extended store closing hours were questionable. The store closed two hours after the mall and clean up lasted two to three hours due to not having enough employees during the evening. Everyone was told that 'everyone would leave at the same time at closing' but it rarely happened. If you had to close a register, you usually walked into a dark parking lot late at night by yourself.

      J.C Penney is a company that cares about its associates and makes it a point to show appreciation for hard work. The training is extensive, but easy to learn.

      Cons

      Some of the training videos are cheesy and may cause you to miss the message
