Pros

Pay is okay compared to other stores. The employee discount was just increased. My coworkers are really great. Daily meetings to let employees know what's going on in the store. The no coupons policy makes the sales associates job easier. Since Ron Johnson became CEO the store looks a lot nicer.

Cons

There is far too much pressure to get credit applications. We were actually told not to take no for an answer. The hours have been cut drastically. Too much emphasis on getting the customers to give a "highly satisfied" rating on the customer service survey.

Pros

Work directly with customers, and build relationships. Employee discounts, and incentives.

Cons

Unstable income due to fluctuating hours based on sales. Little advancement opportunities, promotions based on seniority not performance.
