Pros

The company offers a very diverse workplace. I had a lot of fun working for them and would do so again if I needed a job.

Cons

The downside was there were some nights where I worked well into the midnight but the store was very messy.

Pros

JcPenny is a friendly enviroment and offers a great work experience. It also has great employee discounts and great deals everyday

Cons

The down sides of working for this company is the pay sucks and the head room for advancement is almost restriicted to moving to a different store. You recieve a pay raise after 90 days and its only a quarter raise. Then you have to wait for another year for the next one. How do the expect to keep good employees if they only show you that you are only worth a quarter not going to happen.

Pros

It's a good solid company that is continuing to head in the right direction.

Cons

Not being promoted quickly enough. Difficult to move to corporate from stores.
