Pros

Working as a Senior Image Editor at JCPenney was a valuable experience where I gained exposure to a fast-paced e-commerce environment, collaborated with a talented creative team, and refined my skills in high-end retouching and color correction. The structured workflow, brand consistency standards, and opportunities to contribute to seasonal campaigns helped me grow both technically and creatively.

Cons

While the experience was rewarding, the work could become repetitive due to the high volume of similar product images, and there was limited room for creative exploration outside brand guidelines. Tight deadlines were common, which sometimes impacted work-life balance, and opportunities for upward mobility or role diversification were relatively limited.
