      Good Company but...Great People

      Pros

      Most Pro-Employee company that I have worked for in 20 years. Gives back to the community. Really seems to care about people and the communities where they work. ESOP, 401K matching and healthcare good. Encourages participation in community events and charity (United Way!) Good culture, great people and the safety culture is good, for construction.

      Cons

      Really big company, can loose touch with some corners of operation. Salary is a little below other companies. Really not very open to change. Old policies, no one knows why they exist, are sacred calves. Accountability needs SIGNIFICANT work.

      Pros

      This company presents well on paper. Benefits were outstanding on the whole. CEO works to promote the family experience within the company.

      Cons

      This company falls far short in recognizing the differences in the cultures to the regions it has a presence in. There is no real HR representation in the satellite offices. Promotion and bonus systems are based on who you are aligned with in the company rather than merit or percentage. Compensation for relocation needs serious upgrading if your home office is in any other than KC. Far behind the industry standards regarding safety education. If seeking employment with this JED, be cautious in believing everything on the website.

      Pros

      If you know the right people you will have the easiest job in the world. This is at Intel. In the real world JeDunn is like most other companies. Work hard do your job and all is good.

      Cons

      Little recognition for the work and effort put in. No work life balance. Pay is on the short side when it comes to industry standards.
