The people are great, and the atmosphere is much like that in a small town or close family. No position is too demanding or overly strenuous in terms of hours, physical exertion or the like. Benefits are reasonable - not extraordinary.

Cons

Very 'vanilla'. Not much innovation or opportunity. The small towns they operate in are the perfect location as folks don't expect much. If you're looking for a career and long term growth opportunity, consider Jeld-WEN a stepping stone.

Most employees really care and want to do a good job. They are supportive of others and sincerely want to deliver.

Cons

Management seems to either lack a strategy or the ability to communicate a strategy and priorities to deliver on this strategy. Everything is always priority number one therefore nothing gets done timely or completely.
