Pros

Relaxed work environment, good health benefits, fairly easy to transfer to other facilties. Great people to work with and everyone gets along fairly well.

Cons

JW is years behind when it comes to lean manufacturing. Inventory management is terrible. The "Jeld-Wen Way" is to continue to do the same thing expecting diferent results. Continuos Improvement is just a topic in a meeting that never gets implemented. Employee moral is horrible across the board.

Overall I would have to say I am dissapointed with compensation due to bonus loss and no raise for three years.

Laid back, family run organization that is lax on policy etc

Cons

No transparency and deception when it comes to compensation. Only family and good buddies get promoted. Hard work is not awarded anymore than less than average work.
