Pros

I met a lot of fun coworkers through the JW comprehensive training program- you'll know everything there is to know about windows and doors. The company is also willing to relocate when positions become available.

Cons

A ton of sales reps and few management positions makes advancement very difficult- even after several years of superior work performance- promotions are few and far between.

Pros

Develop business acumen, strengthen your public speaking, manage multi-million dollar markets, great peers, ability to manage your territory like your own business. Overall, good individual autonomy without micro management.

Cons

Certain markets lag a balance between professional and personal time. Redundant work projects due to lack of planning or per customer request. Cost of living in some markets are higher than others thus, base salary can be a bit short and no opportunity to earn a commission in some channels of business. Position is two-fold; in-store service (janitorial work) and some outside sales opportunities.

Pros

Fairly easy to transfer between different locations. The benefits are fairly good, although you are paying for the premiums associated with them.

Cons

You are not always valued as a manager or an employee. This isn't entirely true, as with the first plant that I worked at, everyone was treated fairly and respected. For the location in PA, this was not the case
