      Average factory job. I tried to be unbiased because I was working night shift at an unfortunate time for the company.

      Pros

      Good pay, tasks - unless you get put in a more technical position like at a saw or welder - are fairly simple. Even those technical positions aren't terrible to learn, and they move you around to see if you're better somewhere else instead of just letting you go. Most of the people are respectful and will help you if you have questions they can answer, or can point you to someone who does know.

      Cons

      Communication between shifts is lacking, and most upper management is first shift so the first shift workers get away with a lot more because of favoritism. If you work third shift you end up being the scapegoat for any shortcomings or problems first shift left behind.

      Poor communication skills and NOT willing to be patient with with new hires.

      Upper Management has set unrealistic goals and has driven morale and culture to zero!
