Pros

Best co-workers, no office politics, Lots of PTO & Holidays, 35 hours/week.

Cons

Health coverage is good for single person. Spouse & family have to pay the coverage without company's subsidies.

Pros

Good time off and holidays. Once you're in, you can stick around forever. Medical benefits were good too. I learned a lot about office culture.

Cons

JEVS doesn't think outside the box or innovate in its field. Some shake ups in the senior staff would do the place good. I noticed a lot of infighting and nastiness from some long time employees. Not a lot of room for career advancement or raises. My requests for more responsibility were always denied. A lot of talk about budget cuts, but the org seemed very wasteful as a whole.

Pros

JEVS not only cares about the community but they care about their employees.

Cons

It was a slow moving promotion for me.
