Pros

Being able to help those in need. Having off on all of the Jewish holidays. Good work environment. Overall a good place to work.

Cons

Being a non-profit you are always subject to budget cuts. Other then that there are no cons to speak of.

Pros

JEVS is the kind of non-profit agency that thinks of the individual first and respects that individual always. It has wonderful CORE Principles that encourage collaboration, excellence, integrity, and caring for others.

Cons

Much of JEVS funding is from state and federal governmental agencies whose budgets are subject to change with each budgetary year. Dealing with such uncertainty in the political arena creates challenges. But succeeding in that arena creates excitement.
