Pros

JGM is always reinvesting in its employees, whether it's training or buying new tools to make our lives easier. They really take care of us here. The shop refrigerator always has cold water in it, they buy us water ice on the hot days and every two weeks they have a company lunch at the main office. The company lunch is a great way to get the office, shop and field employees together to discuss current jobs, upcoming jobs and to open the floor for new ideas. We have a safety committee that reviews the company as a whole to make sure all proper safety precautions are being taken so no one gets injured. We get to work on complex projects with tight deadlines and still put out a great product. There's a reason the big boys rely on us to help them out.

Cons

Direct deposit would be greatly appreciated across the company.

Cons

Financial troubles are wide. Last January there weren't enough funds to pay workers, they had to get a loan. Most workers run to the local bank on payday to cash their checks as it is common for paychecks to bounce. The company has outstanding bills for which we get plenty of calls. We cannot buy steel at a decent price as the providers charge us extra for not being able to pay on time. The company credit card is maxed out with restaurant bills and the management drive expensive cars, but the plant guys often do not have funding to buy welding wire of safety gloves.

Pros

Great employees throughout office, shop and field. Most employees have worked for the company 3+ years, some 10 - 15 years. Plenty of overtime offered if you want to work it. Good benefits and pay. Willing to train and teach new employees. Clean shop with great reviews from visitors.

Cons

Hiring more employees would help with all of the work JGM has coming through.
