Pros

Great potential to do amazing things in the industry

Cons

I knew coming in that the owner micromanaged everything and everyone and it is his company to do as he pleases. However, belittling employees and causing serious delays to turn around quotes is detrimental to the success of each inside sales person. Also the sales support team is anything but supportive. More than half of waterworks division has left on stress leave or quit. When advised that each individual is making 6 figures, but could never be given a breakdown of commission structure, seems a little peculiar that not one person in management understands how a persons commission payout is structured. I was warned by companies that did work directly with JM to choose wisely before accepting a position with JM. I wish I would’ve listened. Be prepared to work 10-12 hr days and never feeling like your load has lessened. There are not enough trained individuals in management to assist with your day to day tasks that require assistance. Management passes the buck and requests you to perform tasks that are obviously not doing anyone any favors, including the customers. Choose wisely before accepting a position with JM Eagle

Pros

good benefits department lunches bagel Fridays compensation is decent

Cons

work life balance is awful. they expect you to stay past your regular work hours for meetings. when people stopped showing up to the meeting, they changed their work hours and threatened them with write ups. most of these people have young children. department heads will never stand up for you and they don't have any back bone to stand up to the big boss. the sales department team is lead by a lawyer and a marketing guy - two people who know nothing about the industry really. big boss himself is actually very knowledgeable, but likes to micromanage. you see a lot of people come and go within a month's time
