Pros
regular work during periods of good business stable although some layoffs occur due to business reasons. industry leader, diverse markets and they are leaders in those markets. Recently bought a competitor and entered a business they had not participated in.
Cons
volatily of business makes feast or famine due to an anquision the company incurred a large debt which will preclude capital spending. This may be a problem going forward. The number of competitors is small but the consolidation seems to be settled and the remaining companies are strong. product development needs to be beefed up as most of our products are mature in mature markets. Defense has given a boost in business but new products will be needed
