Pros
Benefits is getting better and better during the time I left the company. 19 days of annual leave + 2 days of childcare leave. Transport allowance is provided. The company union is doing their job well in helping the staffs to get what they deserved. Convenient location - Near YCK MRT station. Able to achieve work life balance if you want - at least for the department that I was in. Got some 'low' period where we can have no task to do the whole week. Got in house canteen, nearby NYP canteen got many nice and cheap food also.
Cons
Office politics - In the department that I was in, majority of the staffs and the superior likes to play office politics in which they will make things difficult and unfair to those who aren't in their 'political party' in the department and would never treat them as one of their own. Superior is bias where it comes to staff development in the company as they prefer to promote those who like to carry their balls even though their work performance is not that good. Regimental - for those non-flexi hour departments, if we were late by even a single minute we will get our salary deducted accordingly.
