Salary is not competitive Not enough opportunity for career growth

If you like being micro managed Jabil Brandywine is the place for you. Management aka plant manager has brought his distrust for all manufacturing employees and run wild with it. Reports of watching employees on camera, yelling at his staff and showing up on weekends to spy on employees are some of what you can expect. We are forced to fill an hourly report about every detail we encounter to compare production numbers that are completely unattainable. We are asked by management why we aren't able to meet numbers constantly and hastled when we dont. Management also manages your break and lunch times, due to covid, if you believe that. They turned a very competent workforce into a disgruntled group of temps , interns and low wage know nothings producing parts that are going into your family members. Then try to sell you on quality. Technology which is supposed to be one of jabils claims to fame has been non existent. Few new computer monitors bout does it. Hardly makes up for the ancient machines we fight with daily to produce precision parts. Hope you don't mind walking, they have no problem telling you to run one machine and another all the way across the building. Job opportunities are there, mainly because the turnover is high or people are fed up with BS. Promotions are there if you don't mind twice the work for no pay raise. People have also been forced to go salary just to eliminate paying their overtime. Engineering staff has been gutted from all the competent people for low wage newbies right out of school. Getting a picture yet? When you have a plant manager with no character, distrust of employees, whose sole purpose is cost savings, this is the type of environment you get.
