Pros

There are no "pros" to this job

Cons

Management at our facility is too young and have no people skills, They are condescending and won't allow you to use the restroom or get a drink when needed. It's "work work work"! Breaks are at a minimum, with a 10 minute break in reality becoming a 4 minute break, once you've waited in line to cleared the checkpoint to leave the assembly floor, because the entire warehouse is given their break all at the same time! No water to drink on the assembly floor! You have to wait for someone to come and stand in your place in line so you can get a drink in the hot environment. Manager literally told me that Jabil only wants young people working there, because of their stamina. I'm 55 and am treated very poorly. I am often left to stand ALONE and wait for my assignment while everyone else has been given theirs and has gotten to work. It is very humiliating the way I and another older gentleman are being treated. I have complained twice to my hiring manager at the staffing agency but she seems inept in being able to offer a solution.

Pros

- Employees are important and respected! - Employees are empowered! - Customer success is important at all levels! - Team performance is as important as individual performance! There is real mobility in the company and most promotions are from within. You can start just about anywhere and develop a path for yourself.

Cons

Not really a con, but nobody will drag you to the position you want. Work is fast paced and requires a faced paced individual willing to be a part of a team. Benefits (Healthcare) are...wanting.

Pros

Medical and dental benefits continue for 3 years after you quit on a Friday

Cons

Managers were unbelievably bad. I don't intimidate easily, and I quit after 4 months because I felt intimidated. Was hired as an engineer and was only ever given manual labor to do. The big boss saw me checking the time on my phone and called me in for review on my first day. Had to furnish my own tools for this job, to do the manual labor, I did 12 hours a day, as an engineer... so bad it's confusing... Shop was horribly disorganized, and managers made us pretend to build robots for made-up customers when corporate came around. When I was actually being productive, bad project management meant that a job I was told to finish in 2 weeks would take 4 or 6 despite 12 hour days + Saturday. I'd complete a work-cell in a week and a manager would come tear it down to work on "software" or something while I was working on something else. Then I'd get in trouble. All the while the boss would talk about Steve Jobs and how hard he worked. Unsafe working conditions like lifting you up 30 feet on a forklift with no harness to pull down heavy equipment so we could pretend to build robots for fake customers. I nearly died. This place is the most ridiculously unprofessional employer I've ever had in 15 years working full time. Randomly received a paycheck 6 months after quitting, for like $100 or something. Still receiving medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits 3 years after quitting, in spite of several calls and emails to HR. I suspect they never took me off the books.
