Cons
In recent years Jacent introduced tablets for placing orders in store. Seems like it would be a perk but they keep needing to be rebooted, they are slow so there is a lot of waiting and sometimes it does not have the updated information you need, You are limited on how much time you can spend (or get paid) in the store without supervisor consent so the tablet is fighting you in that regard. As a supervisor you are expected to cover when others quit or are out for some reason. You have no control over the hiring process except for a final interview, even if it takes them months to get you someone to interview. If other supervisor areas need help you are expected to fill in as well. Supervisors are asked for more and more reports while still doing other work but are not allowed overtime.
