Anyone who gripes about working here hasn't worked many other places.

Pros

The pay is fair, the benefits are excellent, senior management is sharp, and I get everything I need to do my job. Maybe even more important than that is that I believe senior management truly cares at a personal level about every employee. This really came through last year when the company made the decision not to lay anyone off. Sometimes I hear other employees complaining about this or that, and all it tells me is that they haven't worked for any of the truly crappy companies I have. JHA rocks!

Cons

Maybe more travel than I'd care for, but it's really no big deal.

Pros

Fair compensation, great benefits. Management is honest, open, approachable.

Cons

Like everybody in this industry (and just about all others) there is a strong focus on the bottom line and cost control right now. However JHA has managed to control costs without laying off employees like many other companies have done.

Well known company, very good environment, great benefits.

Cons

With my role in the company, there doesn't seem to be a lot of room to grow within my department. As an Admin Assistant, you are given a lot of various projects and random duties, so it's hard to really focus on a field to actually grow in.
