Pros

Great work environment - really enjoy the people

Cons

Change - becoming Corporate Style - micro managed. All new leaders. Not the family owned company it once was.

Pros

I work in Minog Wisconsin in the middle of nowhere sarounded by beautiful woodes and famland sits a large Jack Links plant. There's a lot of good down to earth friendly people, the pay is deasiant. You get free Beef Jerky once in a while, they have nice picknicks with lots of good free food once or twice a year, they also own link ford dealership if you work for them any ware they give you a nice discount on vechials if an employee buys one from them. The Links family seem like vary nice friendly, down to earth, sociable, vary generous people.

Cons

There's a lot of micro management, the managers don't always seem to listen to employees, lack of comunication, the insurance for employees is a little pricy.

Jack Links is a company of hypocrisy

Pros

- Cool product - Free Jerky and occasional gifts - Not a ton of micro-management

Cons

Jack Links is a company of hypocrisy. It's a $1 billion company that forces its employees to buy their own tickets to its major events, which they have enough money to put on but can't give anyone bonuses and lay off countless people a year. They offer bare minimum for benefits, no sick days, all a very small amount of vacation days, and their upper management bullies middle management and sales, and yet they have the gall to hold an employee appreciation week. What a joke. Morale on average is terrible. There is a lot of desperation and a lot of abuse, and no one is willing to help the employees. If you wanted to work from home, reduce or increase hours, or try to convince them to change policies, they ignore you and make you get back in line. It also came to my attention that I was being underpaid for my job by around $8 - $10 per hour.
