Excellent teaching hospital, Very competitive pay due to high turnover/burnout rate for nursing/patient care staff

Great starting pay with annual increases, pensioned, unionized, opportunity for job promotions and transfers to numerous other units and multiple satellite campuses. Decent benefits, and possible tuition assistance.

Cons

Understaffed, overworked, outdated equipment, overcrowded patient units, very large patient population causing long wait times to be seen for treatment delaying possible care, abusive and rude patients, growing lack of team work, minimum security for staff and patients
