Pros
Jackson West ED's night shift felt like an extended family to me. I would literally die for anyone I had worked with during my time there, and they took very good care of me both as a co-worker and as a patient, along with a close friend of mine who I had taken there during an emergency medical episode of theirs. I'm a transgender woman, and at no point did I feel anything less than excepted - and further than that, supported/uplifted - by everyone I worked with. If you're queer, Jackson West ED is a really good place to be.
Cons
There is nothing wrong with JHS that isn't common with any other healthcare workplace, at least in my experience - and even then, they do very well overall.
