      There are some great people to work with. Benefits are excellent.

      Cons

      Very political. Work/life balance isn't very good. Hard work is not appreciated. More focus on who you know.

      Pros

      Excellent training facility.. I found the nursing staff respectful to co-workers and patients. No culture of unease among the nursing staff. Most were long-term hires and stated they were satisfied with current pay-rate and quality of life.

      Cons

      At the time of my experience, there was a high nurse-patient ratio. Not good for the RN; excellent for the interning students. Patient complaints were mostly delayed call time response and medication administration.

      the hourly wages for the nurses is the best in the region.

      In order to make it you must become a nasty/mean/complaining nurse or else.
