Pros

Salary, work schedule is a 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off) and can be flexible with coming in at your own time preference.

Cons

Must adapt without a lot of direction from management. Big generation gap (missing a lot of 30-45 yr olds) in industry overall so must be able to deal with coworkers with lots of experience and inexperienced individuals. Sometimes poor communication between disciplines.

Pros

Jacobs does offer GREAT PAY with decent benefits package also. A lot of growth and transfer potential with the company.

Cons

The purchase of Carter & Burgess, specifially the Retail Divsion was very challenging. Many left during this transition process. There is a "good ole boys" feel for sure, but if you are in with the crowd, you can soar high. If not, better move on quick, or get in with them quick.
