Pros

4-10 work week. Work is steady during the downturn. Those are the only Pros.

Cons

No training, no advancement, good old boy system rules ALL, too much management, no backing, horrible benefits, always try to blame the inexperienced for their mistakes, if you're not the chosen few you're not worth their time, management is inexcusably out of touch. The company motto is "People are our Greatest Asset". Everytime it comes up in a meeting or a conversation the response is riotous laughter.

Pros

People and salary is good. Location is great for access to the city. Allowed to work four nine hour days and a half day on Friday.

Cons

No management support for growth. Management only cares about the bottom line. Benefits are not that good. You end up paying a lot out of pocket.

Pros

They get work and lots of it. A diverse mix of projects involving many disciplines, most of which are available in-house. Pay is OK.

Cons

Poor work environment / atmosphere. Company culture is your standard corporate flavor of awfulness. Out of touch management once you get above the office level. Benefits are crap.
