Pros

-Competent coworkers. -Job is easy to learn and perform -Nice kitchen and gym.

Cons

-Not a place to retire from. Very expensive health benefits. Female employees are scared to expand their families due to fear of no pay while out and bills after shotty coverage from Jai Medical. -Everyone is looking for a new job, but due to new contracts in place for new employees....5k early resignation fee. Who agrees to pay a job to leave??????

Pros

From interview to offer letter, the decision took about 7 business days.

Cons

Jai suffered from extreme turnover in 2018. it was revolving door organization where everyone from center doctors and CSRs often left within the first year because of low pay, expensive benefits, no PTO, and no direct deposit. I remember my health insurance for my family of three was over two dollars per pay. These total were with employer contributions. In addition, I was granted only 10 days of leave, this serving as both sick and personal totals for the year. What caused me to leave in before 6-months was the method of pay. I was not told before accepting the position that direct deposit was not available; and that staff physically picked up their checks in office or it would be mailed. It is wholly unacceptable to not be paid until 2pm or end of day in 2020. I am a single parent.

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to read in your review that the interview and hiring process was efficient. Our company offers new full-time employees up to 10 days of accrued paid time off in the first year, potentially up to 18 days per year with increasing accruals on anniversaries. Also, since your employment date, in an effort to reduce costs for employees, we have made changes to our health insurance offerings. Our company contributes a significant portion of the costs while maintaining reasonable deductibles. Other additional benefits include paid holidays, an employer sponsored life insurance plan, supplemental life insurance offerings, voluntary short-term disability options, and a 401k plan with a fully vested employer match. Other perks include an onsite free fitness center, employee assistance program, travel insurance, confidential no-cost counseling, and employee discounts. These benefit offerings are competitive within the healthcare industry and similar sized organizations. While we have seen many healthcare companies layoff staff, cut benefits, and reduce pay during this difficult year, our organization has continued to maintain our employee benefits and have not laid off any member of our staff. We strongly encourage candidates to inquire about our benefits and method of pay if there are any questions prior to hire.

Pros

Working at Jai Medical Systems is a good learning experience. Work environment is extremely fast-paced and sometime high pressure, but there are no politics and everyone is friendly, making it a lot more relaxing and fun. Plus with a "Trust is earned" outlook, once you have established yourself, you will find ownership and freedom within your projects. Management genuinely cares about healthcare of their members and take all the efforts to make it better for members as well as for the company. CEO knows each employee personally and appreciates their hard-work.

Cons

Work policies are little inflexible with limited PTO's and no option to work from home.
