Great coworkers can’t fix a sinking ship

Pros

- Some genuinely amazing teammates who make the day tolerable (and dare I say, enjoyable). - You’ll become incredibly resourceful—because you’ll have to figure out everything on your own. - Legacy product with brand recognition in the Apple ecosystem (which might look decent on your resume). - You’ll gain a new appreciation for actual leadership—once you leave.

Cons

- Leadership is out of touch and allergic to innovation. CEO has less personality than an AI chatbot. - No meaningful career development, coaching, or growth path. “Figure it out” is the unofficial motto. - Compensation and benefits are below industry standard. Hope you like being paid in vibes. - Return to office mandate dressed up as a “culture initiative”—because forcing people into renovated buildings = morale boost, right? - The company is stuck in a weird identity crisis: part dusty Midwestern legacy org, part wannabe startup. - Culture is all surface, no substance. Free snacks don’t make up for lack of vision or support. - “Do more with less” is a recurring theme. And by “less,” we mean resources, communication, and recognition.

Pros

People who have been at Jamf for a while are committed to the company. Good product overall. Remote first (although that is changing accordingly to rumors). Good PTO policy. Good commitment to ERG groups.

Cons

Executive team instills doubt instead of confidence. Do not feel like they are the right people to turn our ship around. Stock is plummeting. CRM implementation has been a disaster. HR team comes off as aloof. More middle managers have been promoted based on who they are friends with than performance or ability to lead. Confidence is at an all time low internally and people are fed up.

Thank you for your positive comments regarding our product, commitment to inclusion, diversity, and our Employee Resource Groups. Due to various macroeconomic factors affecting companies across all sectors, the stock market is down overall which has affected Jamf’s stock price. It’s important to remember stock prices fluctuate for many reasons outside a company’s direct control. With our business strategy, recent acquisition of Identity Automation, and resilient growth and revenue over the last 12 months we expect this to be reflected in Jamf stock performance.
