Exciting projects, really hands-on engineering and great place to learn

Cons

Definitely a hard place to move up. Management really doesn't prioritize developing employees and doesn't really work to help employees grow. Upper management is completely clueless and is super clique. They really don't understand what's going on and don't really prioritize their employees. Also, people lead with intimidation and teamwork is extremely lacking. Stay for a year and then get out. There are much better places to go. Pay is lacking too.

you have a job that pays well enough. Health benefits were pretty good.

Cons

There are several individuals who are extremely toxic to work with and continue to diminish and ridicule others. There is a lot of in-fighting and pointing fingers. You will get blamed for all the problems upper-management created. There is not a lot of room to grow and the skills you learn here are not very transferrable in my opinion. A lot of home brewed applications. They do not value anyone who speaks up and tries to change things, they do not value quality or hardwork. You only are successful if you are one of the drinking buddies in my opinion. They are very deceptive in the hiring process for most people - this place is riddled with problems and they over promise in interviews. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE.

This company is loyal to people who agree with everything management says. You can have a long career here if you don't openly ask questions or disagree.

Cons

Micro managed and bullied are every day occurrences. Everyone knows it goes on but no one in upper management will change it. They have had high turnover for years and if you say anything about it, you have a huge target on your back for a short time until you are gone. Nepotism is the key or being a family member so you don't have to be nice.
