Rich getting richer

Pros

Stable employment, even the worst employees are kept on the payroll. Smaller firm gives you personal access to department heads and back office support. Client is always right unless there is a risk for the firm.

Cons

Boys club intact. Favors amongst the rich white men continue to occur, some women climbing the ranks but none in the c-suite. Those femles closest appear to be wearing any and all hats she is asked to wear, making their roles ambiguous and unsustainable. They are trying to portray the diversity card but lack the actual substance of diversity and inclusion. Its literally old white men approaching the issue at face value and literally saying "hire more black people" when that is not the holistic solution and only part of the problem.

Pros

Downtown Philadelphia Walk to work

Cons

"Customer focus" are superficial talk but inherently GREED is their primary motivation. They present themselves as Fiduciary Advisers but secretly find ways to circumvent SEC & FINRA and maximize trading activities and profit. I've sat in meetings and overheard conversations about "diversifying" and "re-balancing" savings and retirement accounts (buzz words) but realistically, it was actual Churning maximized. The culture here is Greed but its all wrapped in pretty paper and ribbons designed to fool customers.
