Pros

you get access to many people and they truly want to help

Cons

if you are not in the inner circle, you do not have a chance of growing.....super cheap to support staff. Their attitude---is everyone is replaceable and this comes from the top of the house

Pros

- Open door access to management all the way to the top - Excellent work life balance, quick to react with pandemic - Entrepreneurial attitude, if you have an idea you can run with it - All treated fairly equal regardless of seniority, all views are respected - Extremely helpful colleagues with an immense support network - Deep bench with deep relationships, always helping to add value for our clients - None of the baggage you may expect at a BB

Cons

- S&T in general has seen better days, more an industry trend, but commission compression and industry consolidation always has you acutely aware of the value you add

Pros

Tremendous deal exposure and solid deal flow. Bankers are constantly trying to win new business, which can be straining on junior employees.

Cons

Extremely long hours with average industry comp.
