Some of the kindest people I've ever worked with.

Cons

No career growth, bad team management, inspecific goals, higher-ups don't listen to engineers, no work/life separation, certain departments woefully underpaid + over-worked.

Pros

The founder is a brilliant person and his vibe permeates throughout the company. Some very bright folks in every department.

Cons

Way too much indecision from upper management. Whomever has the ear of the CEO last will get their way. Completely disorganized account managers with little to no infrastructure for a successful, repetitive process.

Pros

Culture. Great people working in the trenches with you. Health insurance and 401k. Company parties and general workplace activity is high. Overall, if you're looking for a place that is similar to a college club, lots of get-togethers and nice people, then this is your place. A decent number of people in leadership are women, although I didn't see that this helped women who were at the bottom of the company much. No mentorship, no particular focus on equal pay, etc.

Cons

Pay is low. VERY low diversity. No focus on personal growth or challenge. If you're looking to grow your skills, improve yourself, or in general progress your career at all (not looking for a ladder, just general life advancement) this is NOT, I repeat, NOT the place for you. It is generally discouraged and considered a 'liability' if someone wants to be challenged in their career. It was never very clear from quarter to quarter if we were doing well or not. Numbers were never hit, and it never seemed like the rate of hiring met the actual needs of the company. They would rather hire new (cheap) talent than develop the talent and pay them better. It was a tale of two companies. Some were lead by experienced professionals and worked well as a team. Others were more interested in making sure everyone was at the next party or that their desk has been decorated.
