Great place to work

Pros

I love working here for so many reasons, the biggest probably being the people. Everyone is incredibly funny, hardworking, humble, and kind. It's true that you spend more time at work than you do at home, and I'm happy to be surrounded by great people who make me feel I'm at home, even when we're rolling up our sleeves to get work done. I always like the fact that your voice is heard (which it looks like someone recently mentioned). You can chime in almost anywhere... people want to hear if you have an idea for how to make something better or how to make a process run smoother. Great benefits. I have a young family, and the fact that Jellyvision does such an amazing job providing for its employees gives me the warm fuzzies.

Cons

There are long hours, but if you dig the work, it's no big deal. You work the hours that make sense for you, so usually it's just a matter of refiguring your schedule. There are definitely growing pains, but it's kind of exciting (and to be expected).

Pros

Medical/Dental/Vision benefits Free food You can bring your dog to work

Cons

Jellyvision presents itself as a fun place to work and that they care about their employees. However, they are stretched way too thin, don't hire enough people, and then point fingers and their employees when thing go astray. The work/life balance is terrible and those that work there seemed are stressed. In addition, I've seen leadership make grave errors with their employees and then fire them with no warning, due to their own failures. There are other places like JV in the city that truly care about their employees.

Pros

Great culture, interesting work, smart people, a variety of project types to keep things challenging and interesting, ability to work outside of your role to help achieve goals, growth opportunity.

Cons

Work-life balance was a challenge; however, the company was in a major growth stage (revenue-wise and employee-wise), so being a part of that meant putting in your own blood, sweat and tears along with senior leaders.
