Pros

The company has a strong reputation in fire protection, and can be supported by the US teams, so it seems that it can excel your career on paper. The work schedule can be quite flexible, in terms of taking time off or vacation, and there’s minimal pressure for delivering projects on time, so you can manage ur workload and deadlines with ease. The environment is laid-back, and it’s easy to shift responsibilities or find reasons when things don’t go as planned.

Cons

I found a serious imbalance in the structure, with a disproportionate number of non-technical staff compared to technical staff, management, and the final outcomes. This leaves technical staff feeling undervalued with minimal bonuses or rewards. The dynamics within teams feel off, as if something crucial is missing. Disengagement is a serious concern but nobody has the passion or ability to solve it, as if they are all forced to work. ;) The company seems overly focused on its structure, but this focus doesn’t translate into effective operations. A team oriented point of view could help to fill the gaps. Something does not add up when you look at the compensation package, the size of the company, and the projects.

Extensive knowledge and industry participation, great exposure to all types of fire protection engineering, great way to build network, flexible PTO policy

Cons

Revenue focused, utilization focused, no pay for hours worked over 40, unfavorable work life balance, no corporate transparency, owned by an investment firm only looking to make money, potential for burnout is high
