Pros

"Swiss" Salary (even if the salaries are usually 20% lower than actual Swiss salaries)

Cons

Jet Aviation is really good at one thing, it is constantly disappointing all its employees. In 5 years time, I have seen 3 waves of contract terminations. People are being let go each and every year without any consideration and treated like disposable products. The Human Ressources Team is quite incompetent. No support to the employees whatsoever. Managers do not support their team to evolve within the company (no training, it is complicated to move from one department to the other, it is imposible to move between facilities). All departments are not really working together but against each other (we are constantly asked to keep tracks of all the exchanges to cover our team). The overall atmosphere is quite bad. People are constantly complaining, especially now after the so-called social plan with more than 200 people being fired. New processes and tools are constantly forced into the system with minimum consultation with the actual tools and processes users. Projects are always treated in the chaos and maximum stress. It is quite exhausting. Due to all of the above, Jet Aviation is totally unable to attract and keep young talents. The overall task force is mainly made of 40-50 years old employees who prefer to hold on until the retirement, hoping they will not be fired in the next social plan. It can be a good thing for 1 or 2 years if you come from Germany or France, fresh from the school and you want to gather a little cash but do not expect anything from this company.

Pros

- learn a lot about aviation business - good exposure to corporate environment on a global scale - learnt about what's important for me in life

Cons

- politics and gossip throughout every layer of the organisation - values are business driven, not people driven - need for a non toxic working environment not endorsed by C-Suite - career development for selected groups only - no room for flexibility when trying to align work and personal
