Pros

The company does care about its people unlike many others that only say so. Let me give you an example. They started loosing some talented people because of their location - most of the development happened in Russia and many employees wanted to move to Europe or USA. Instead of making strict contracts or whatever, they just opened they own branch in Munich, Germany and relocated a big part of their team there. Now employees have a choice where to work and live.

Cons

You really need to be able to self-orient, self-educate and everything "self" yourself. Not that much of a leadership sometimes.

Pros

The JetBrain's Boston Office is very modern and because the employee size is very small, there is a lot of interaction between upper management (COO, CFO, Co-founder), admin (Office Staff), and engineers. No matter what your role is at JetBrains, you always feel valued. The upper management really take the time to get to know you and make sure you are happy. Work/life balance is great. Upper management is always concerned about your well being and making sure you aren't over worked or burnt out.

Pros

The company is very well managed and treats its employees with the utmost respect and care. I've worked at three other companies before and nothing has come even close with how good it is to work at JetBrains. The pay is very competitive, the healthcare premiums are covered, food is provided for, and management constantly keeps me challenged and growing.

Cons

None, this place is seriously great.
