The only people who succeed at this company are white males. The executive team here is known in the insurance industry as the "Midwest Mafia". Unless you are a member of their "Old Boys Club" you will not be compensated fairly I was severely underpaid based on my role and responsibilities because they are based in rural Wisconsin, so they specifically told me what I was asking for was astronomical but barely covered the cost of living. There were always inappropriate jokes and teasing to female employees daily. I complained to my manager multiple times about treatment from a male peer and was told "that's just how he is". One of the leaders on my team who was remote was under the influence of alcohol daily and nothing was done and this was going on for over a year. My direct manager was a control freak who would tell higher up's that I had all this ownership but wanted to read every email I sent. He also made inappropriate comments to me weekly and made me feel very uncomfortable on several occasions. The few women executives that have survived at this company (there are about 5) are extremely smart and talented but their titles and salaries do not match those of their male counterparts.
