Pros

People were friendly my co-workers were awesome

Cons

Pay sucks--worked there for over a year never missed a day still shot be down on a raise but gave management to someone that hadn't been there that long and was way younger not even with a degree. Management was a joke, my manager would go smoke in her office then go across the river on the clock and go drink beers by the other jimmy johns store. Management would sit on the computer and look at facebook while bossing the others that were working on stuff to do more stuff.

Pros

The store I work at has really nice management, probably the only reason why I've been able to keep working here for almost 6 months.

Cons

It's a corporate franchise, and I guess this doesn't matter if you are ok with doing some of the most ridiculous things just because "hey, i'm just doing my job." Everything has to be ok'd at the corporate level, whether it's store hours or the idea we had of recycling bags that bread comes in for trash bags in the bathrooms. (yes, i'm serious about the bags) Also, many of the "values" that jimmy himself preaches via signs posted around the store are extremely contradictory, offensive, and typically just don't even make sense.

Pros

well, if your a driver i guess one of the only pros is days you get real nice tips, and meeting a bunch of people if you are outgoing. And rocking out to to music would be one if it wasnt the same songs evvedrryydaayy you come into work! Most of the people youll work with are nice too.

Cons

breaks are discouraged even after an eight hour shift, which is how long you have to work to get your only type of benefit, a free sub. haha. If you deliver, its not even worth it. After paying for your own gas, paying off unavoidable parking tickets because if you park legally anywhere in the city its going to cost you money, and your tips are only going to pay off your parking. Anyway after all that nonsense, you make like 5 extra dollars a shift. All that for running around in the heat, tearing your car up to make speedy fast deliveries that half your customers dont tip for, dealing with your manager harrassing you over your delivery time, its there job because the jimmy john's corporation likes to pretend that they pay you this amazing wage to put up with all their nonsense audits and total bull. Also, your in a downtown area with NOWHERE to park, elevators to go up, people to track down, cops giving you tickets, bums haggling you, messed up customer info so your at the totally wrong place, streets with no sreet signs, customers yelling at you, its not worth it AT ALL. find a different job.
