Pros

the employees (co-workers) are lovely people

Cons

Poor management very very low pay overworked employees does not have any consideration for the front-line employees did not disclose the policy for holiday- you have to work all holidays both Canada and US, with no time and a half only lieu time and when you have to book your time they dont approve it. no work life balance was told we have to work new years and will only have Christmas off. Make surprise changes to the schedule and do not notify employees managers are not really nice

Pros

Good team events and office space. CEO, CTO seem genuine. Middle management is highly political.

Cons

In the recent year a large group of leaders and engineers are from Vidyard. My manager openly favours team members they've worked with in the past. Its unfair to engineers who have been with Jobber long before many of the new managers onboarded. Directors are also a representation of Vidyard and hence the team cant bring up any biases we see. If you worked for Vidyard in the past, you have an easy entry to Jobber. If not, be ready to hear stories of how "abc" did "xyz" kind of excellent work at Vidyard. It not about how technically competent you are at Jobber, its all about which manager or director from Vidyard has a history of your previous work.

Pros

- Remote work - There is 0 outbound needed - Sales cycle is really quick - Learn about tech sales and get a good foundation

Cons

Where do I begin... 1) The pay is almost comical... And if you don't hit 70+% of your target your commission is basically 0... Even if your sick they don't care... The bonuses and extras they offer for hitting a sales competition goal are a joke... Not even kidding like $50-$60 prize... 2) The systems they have in place are insane... If you call someone and they call you back it goes to the AE line and you get 0 credit or commission just because the customer decided to return your call... Which leads you to almost have to beg customers not to call you back... 3) You literally spam call people every day non stop for 2 weeks....
