Pros

Unfortunately the bad reviews are mostly coming from people who failed.. Jobot hires people who have experience and commit to being able to perform at a high level... In exchange Jobot offers an incredible ATS that works really well and helps you source candidates 24/7 in addition to industry leading tools for business development and additional candidate sourcing. The comp package is unrivaled with the exception of starting your own business which I can say first hand is very challenging and you end up spending 50% of your time handling non-sales related items which of course lowers your gross revenue... A considerable amount of people were let go after 12 MONTHS of poor performance... that's a lot longer than most companies would take a loss on an employee... It's funny that the people who claim the company is loosing money are the ones that were putting in minimal work and costing the company money to be employed here. Now I wouldn't say Jobot was perfect... I think we hired a lot of people based on trust that they were being honest about their past performance with out enough vetting... but any claims that there is not enough expectations set up front is a lie. You know your goals for the first 90 days and the goals from that point forward. That is a company-wide rule... basically PAY FOR YOUR SEAT! Don't cost the company money, especially for more than a 3-6 months, or yes you may find your job in jeopardy. Isn't that normal? What company offers you unlimited time to become a profitable salesperson?

Cons

We hired too many non-performers and top performers had to deal with the stress of correcting the business.

Pros

-Every other Friday off -Great benefits and equipment provided -Good tech stack for the most part -Total flexibility and freedom to recruit wherever

Cons

-Not guidance or support at all, if you are struggling with the way they do things, there is no one helping you get back on track. It is a sink or swim environment - The people who do best at this company have 10-20 years worth of relationships and clients and don't need any management or team -Very difficult to get splits or help with roles/have people help with your roles if you have a small team. It's very much running your own shop which was not sold to me during the interview process -A lot of the "perks" and fun things that were sold to me during the interview process, completely stopped once I was brought on board. They essentially did a bait and switch because they were blowing through cash and then had to cut everyone's salary -The draw system was NOT explained properly during interview process and therefore sets you up for failure/no commission -Longevity at this organization is very telling, they went from 800+ people in 2023 to 400 in 2024
