Pros

Jobscan uses AI to help job seekers land interview faster. It's one of the very few socially driven startups that's actually profitable and growing. It moves fast and listens to customer feedback. Even customer service has the power to file engineering tickets and request product changes. I've learned 10x more here than my last company. Management has a high bar and works hard. It's not a place to cruise — it is a startup after-all. It resembles Amazon's early days. If you want to grow multiple sets of skills and is willing to take your career to the next level, this is the place. The company provides health, vision, free snacks, work-from-home twice a week, 401K, happy hours, and frequent promotions.

Cons

Management is highly selective on talent so hiring could be faster. There have been critics about work/balance so now the company offers generous work from home policies.

Pros

Some hard-working coworkers. There was a deep sense of camaraderie as we all worked to try to meet our goals.

Cons

Completely absent CEO with no clear sense of a vision or future for his product. Absolutely no work life balance... maybe someone tries telling you otherwise but a job here meant you had to sacrifice most of your life. The company values were aspirational ideas of what they WANT to be like, not what they truly embody. Pay was terrible.. for all the "overtime" most people worked, your hourly rate ended up being quite terrible and you were made to feel indebted to work at some company. The actual insight into the product is not that novel or in-depth... ask anyone in the talent world and they'll laugh when you bring up the concept of Jobscan.

Pros

No pros that I can think of

Cons

Company is chaotic, acts like they care and are mission-oriented but no one knows what they're doing and the founder is terrible at communicating. They expect you to be grateful for making under market value. The positive reviews are obviously fake, probably written by James Hu. Run very unprofessionally and disorganized. Seattle has so many better tech startups, don't work here!!!
