Great if you need barista/juicer/sandwich practice... but not ideal

Not only do you get experience using a traditional espresso machine, you also get experience using a juicer and a blender as well as making sandwiches. You learn how to remember a lot of recipes with tons of ingredients as well. You will never fear a rush with the amount of work being done. If you are a man, there is a chance you can rise up in the ranks pretty easily in a short amount of time (if you are a woman, it is possible but less so). You can pick up shifts (= more money) at other stores.

Cons

Lots of work for not a lot of pay. Even if you're in one of the better areas, I do not think tips make up for the type of work that is being done. You get paid every 2 weeks which can be annoying. Managers are very passive-aggressive and made me feel uncomfortable (I've been flirted with and then harassed for rejecting one when I was 17 and he was 30). They will make you close by yourself in the fall/winter when they make less money (which was annoying for me as a woman). People will text and call you constantly to pick up shifts for others (both from your store and other stores). There is a chance that you will close or open by yourself at other stores when they do not always match your home stores completely so it makes very complicated.
