Pros

Flexible hours (manager dependent), responsive to employee needs, good people.

Cons

A LOT of meeting and training (but it makes sense in this day and age.)

Pros

Fair pay, decent benefits, stability. It is a large corporation, so there are opportunities to move into different positions and locations.

Cons

Unorganized, poor onboarding of employees - specifically for salaried employees,. There is a disconnect between corporate and the plants. Favoritism. They seem to operate as if you are fortunate to be working for them. When current employees apply for or express interest in other positions, it does not seem to be a priority. Internal applicants have been ignored, not provided with even the basic communication you would expect for any candidate, let alone a current employee.

The McPherson branch in Kansas is fantastic!

Pros

McPherson branch management genuinely cares about the workers. They actively look to promote hard workers and give opportunities to the good workers to move up. The McPherson branch has a very good work culture. The workers are trustworthy to the point where you could leave a laptop sitting on a table if you got called back into the plant floor and nobody would steal your personal belongings.

Cons

The pay is starting to get outpaced by inflation. The 12-hour rotating shifts can be very brutal. If you're not used to it, it can take quite a bit of time to get adjusted. It also is not healthy for your sleep schedule switching from days to nights constantly.
