      Pros

      you draw a check weekly.

      Cons

      The training is not very good due to the fact they always give you a trainer that does not speak your language (English). When they throw you up in the ranks in two weeks because they realize you have every bit of knowledge to do the job there is no incentive. The threat that the bosses sit and tell people everyday they can fire you is not acceptable.

      Not many, I would say benefits are the one bright point.

      Low salary for industry - Too much management for the number of field employees - Promotion based on who likes who, not who is best for the job - As an employee of JCI you are just a number and a pay check, your well being is not cared for by JCI - The stock price is more important then its people

      Great benefits, large company, pay was good.

      Cons

      Environment is toxic, with a lot of finger pointing. Lots of engineering types and processes. Absolutely no marketing, all marketing is expected to be done by the retailers. Its an engineering company so there are TONS of processes, but surprisingly its incredibly inefficient. Battery labels are still applied by hand , etc. The Milwaukee office seems extremely unhappy. The cubicles don't even have walls, so you are staring at someone while you do your work. You have to have allies in this company or they will turn on you in a heartbeat.
