      Great place to work. Could use better management skills and recognize employees more.

      Pros

      The time off given for holidays and sick days is great. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and HR has many programs in place to assist employees to achieve higher levels of employment and more job skills.

      Cons

      There is very little employee recognition. We had to pay for our own employee recognition luncheon and our own Christmas lunch. There is no employee appreciation day or week.

      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity for advancement. A wide range of positions both laterally and UP. Superior products and software systems. The tools are excellent, the online tools are great too. There are many dedicated knowledgable employees to learn from.

      Cons

      Way too much work for way too few employee's. The tools are hard to utilize and difficult to learn them all. High expectations and everyone is so busy that it can be difficult to get assistance when you really need it.

      Pros

      Its a large corporation. Many opportunities exist within the company, I have heard about people changing careers within JCI. They moved from a technical job to sales. Many locations to relocate to. Excellent benefits.

      Cons

      The office I worked in had very poor communication. The branch as a whole was severely undermanned. There was a very high turnover rate in the Alexandria branch leading to multiple problems.
