Pros

Love being a part of an excellent team who is passionate about their job. People make up for the low pay teaching a temp adjunct full time position. If you become a full time professor at the college, pay is commensurate with the market v alue for your profession. Bonus working at at JCCC is you get medical and can contribute to a 401 K plan.

Cons

Low pay for temp adjuncts in a full time status. PRN adjunct pay much higher.

Pros

Works with your school schedule. Free coffee and (during time of employment) $7 to spend on food/drinks for shift days.

Cons

Minimal opportunities for promotion. No tips unless you apply for a special scholarship program.
