when I introduced a gamified design for my course to engage students in a way that I believed was aligned with the college mission to inspire learning, transform lives and strengthen community

Cons

supervisor canceled my contract on the basis that my innovative apporach would not meet HLC standards and that the rigorous dicipline was being lost in all the fun. I was told it didnt matter if the students passed or failed, as long as the course met HLC audit standards.
